What is LDPE film?
LDPE film is the most commonly used plastic film among our customers due to its excellent material properties. The flexible material protects goods and products from contamination and damage, whether during storage, processing or transportation. LDPE film is used in almost every industry, such as automotive, construction, mail order and food.
LDPE film is so popular, among other things, because of its transparency; it is ideally suited for use as visible packaging. As an alternative to the basic film, a film with coloring or printing is possible. With the help of additives, we adapt the film to your requirements, for example, a UV stabilizer protects the film from aging due to sunlight (UV radiation). Our offer ranges from tubular films, semi-tubular films and shrink films to ready-made products such as LDPE bags, carrier bags and garbage bags.
What is LDPE?
LDPE (also PE-LD) stands for Low Density Polyethylene. Occasionally one speaks in German of low-density polyethylene, low-density polyethylene or soft polyethylene. Polyethylene in general scores with a good ecological balance. It does not cause problematic pollutants either during production or disposal.
In addition to LDPE film, we offer film made of LLDPE (Linear Low Density Polyethylene), which is particularly stretchable and puncture-resistant, HDPE film (film made of High Density Polyethylene) and MDPE film, which is made of a mixture of HDPE and LDPE. The films differ in density and flexibility. Visually, none of the three alternatives is as clear as LDPE film. We will be happy to inform you about the advantages and disadvantages of the different PE films. With our advice, you are sure to find the most suitable film material for your application.
What are the properties of LDPE film?

1. PE films by type
LDPE tubular film
Tubular films are produced by blown film extrusion and can be easily welded into precisely fitting bags or sacks. Delivery is made on small rolls or on large rolls.
LDPE semi-tubular film
Semi-tubular films are tubular films cut open on one side and are particularly suitable for machine processing.
LDPE flat film
Flat films are created by cutting a tubular film. We are happy to implement individual thicknesses and dimensions for you.
LDPE shrink film
We can provide you with shrink films according to your needs. With it you protect your pallets or products. Often shrink films are needled to allow the air to escape.
